2020 : Single Fin Mingle

The Mid Winter Mingle. Just one week prior to commencement, The Single Fin Mingle was forced to pull pin at the hands of the global pandemic and sudden lockdown being implemented. Most assumed the 2020 edition of the Mingle would be scrapped - but 3 months later it would return triumply. A surfing festival in the South Island of NZ in the middle of winter with air temps going sub zero and the water sitting at 8 degree celsius, was audacious, some thought down right stupid. Yet the Mingle showed with enough passion, enthusiasm and love you can warm the hearts of many.
