The Single Fin Mingle has been built by an amazing community of people. By signing up to become a Mingle Volunteer you become part of a special whānua, our own exclusive community of legends who love bringing people together to have a good time. Yep, you’ll do some hard mahi, but by being part of this special team, being right in the thick of the Mingle magic you’ll get a taste of the beautiful buzz that make the bees make honey. 

To join the SFM volunteer whānau, we will need you to commit to working approx 12 - 15 hours, broken into various shorter shifts during The Mingle (26 - 29th of March 2026).

Shifts will range in times from 6.30 am - Midnight. Jobs you may do (not limited to) - Set up and pack up of event sights - marquees, banners, couches , transport for surfers and artists, survey and check-in of attendees, provide info to attendees, distribute stock and products for various events and a whole other range of festival logistics.
